Breaking the silence - preventing harassment and sexual misconduct

Internal sources of support

Harassment and Violence Support Service (HVSS)

The HVSS can provide support to both those who have been subjected to any form of sexual harassment or violence and/or intimate partner abuse, and those who have been impacted by religious or racial discrimination or violence. We can support you whether this happened in a university context or not and we can help whether it happened recently or in the past.

Consent Workshop Pilot Programme

The HVSS, in partnership with Beyond Equality and the Cambridge Student Union, has just completed its second year of a pilot consent programme. This is a train-the-trainer programme which enables staff and student pairs to deliver face to face consent workshops for first year students. The feedback so far has been very positive and will be evaluated and reviewed comprehensively this year.
